Bayside Info Centre
The Bayside Information Centre was established in 1990 by an anonymous financial benefactor. This centre was established to be a central point within the community for obtaining free information regarding community based resources and services within the Wynnum/Manly area. Community organisations within the area are encouraged to keep a supply of up-to-date literature and leaflets pertaining to their particular organisation on display at the centre. Bus and train timetables for many destinations are also available. The centre has a variety of upcoming entertainment performances which are to take place in the Brisbane area.
The information centre is organised and run by volunteers. These volunteers open the centre from 8.00am until 4.00pm five (5) days per week. The services are offered from this centre on a no cost basis to the general public and also to the community organisations displaying their information. We do, however, have a donation box at the centre where people can make a donation towards the running of the if they feel so inclined. There is a small charge for both the fax & photocopying services.
